According to insights from NBA expert Jake Fischer, the Philadelphia team's proposals fell considerably short of Grimes' representatives' financial demands. Fischer indicated that the highest one-year offer from the Sixers was approximately $9 million.
Agent Reveals Rejected Proposals from Grimes' Side
David Bauman, Grimes' agent, confirmed that several extension proposals from his client were turned down by the team. These included an offer for a one-year, $17 million contract that would have waived Grimes' no-trade clause, as well as a two-year, $34 million agreement featuring a player option.

The 76ers' initial formal offer during the offseason, presented on September 24, was a four-year deal valued at $39 million. A subsequent one-year offer of $8.8 million, which included waiving Grimes' no-trade clause, was also declined by the player's camp.
