Pop sensation Danny Foster recently shared a heartfelt message for his wife, Victoria Goddard, commemorating their 23-year journey together. This personal milestone arrives as the music world anticipates the reunion of his band, Hear'Say, alongside fellow pop group Liberty X, for a major arena tour scheduled for 2027. The tour will celebrate a quarter-century since both groups captivated audiences on the television talent competition 'Popstars.'
Foster, 47, and Goddard, 41, who is also a talented singer, tied the knot in 2016 and frequently perform together in their R&B ensemble, Big Soul Corporation. Their enduring bond has seen them through various challenges, notably Victoria's breast cancer diagnosis in 2021. She bravely shared her experience, highlighting the importance of early detection and expressing profound gratitude for each day following her lumpectomy and radiotherapy.
Beyond their musical endeavors, the couple shares a deep affection for exploration, having cultivated an interest in meditation and yoga after immersive experiences in India. Foster’s encounters with monastic communities and ashrams inspired him to establish 'Love Includes You,' a platform dedicated to meditation, self-love, and personal development. This initiative aims to foster community events and daily practices rooted in the wisdom he gained from his spiritual journey.
The announcement of the Hear'Say reunion has brought Foster back into the spotlight. The band, originally formed in 2000-01 through ITV's 'Popstars,' quickly achieved massive success with their debut single 'Pure and Simple,' which broke sales records. The upcoming 13-date arena tour will feature four original Hear'Say members—Danny Foster, Kym Marsh, Suzanne Shaw, and Noel Sullivan—alongside the full original lineup of Liberty X. Myleene Klass, another original member of Hear'Say, has chosen not to participate due to scheduling conflicts.
Liberty X, formed on 'Popstars' in 2001, also enjoyed significant popularity, particularly with their hit single 'Just A Little,' which topped the UK charts in 2002. Although both bands disbanded years ago, Liberty X briefly reunited in 2013 for ITV’s 'The Big Reunion.' Kelli Young of Liberty X revealed that the idea for this joint tour originated from within the group, emphasizing a grassroots effort to bring the beloved bands back to their fans.
The impending tour promises a nostalgic trip for fans, with Kym Marsh humorously noting that while the dance routines might not be as vigorous as in their younger days, they will certainly honor the groups' iconic performances. This event underscores the lasting legacy of both Hear'Say and Liberty X, who continue to inspire and entertain their dedicated fanbase with their music and personal journeys.
