By simply asking Maps to find restaurants with specific menu items like "oat milk lattes and avocado toast," users receive local options and can place orders directly through integrated partners. Gemini then compiles the order for review before payment, making the process intuitive and swift.
Advanced Hotel and Attraction Search
Previously, searching for hotels in new cities required extensive manual filtering for price and stars. Now, users can issue conversational commands such as "find a 4-star hotel in Atlanta within walking distance of several restaurants." Maps will then present matching options, with booking facilitated through Google's official partners. Similarly, finding attractions is simplified; users can ask, for instance, to "find modern art museums near me that are open past 3 p.m."
