The legal proceedings follow Ora's separation from Stennett in 2024, after a professional association that began in 2009. Court documents presented by Stennett's firm, FAE Ventures, assert that Ora, who first joined the company at the age of 18, did not provide the stipulated share of her earnings from tours and television work. A significant portion of the claim, approximately £1.7 million, is cited as 'impermissible deductions' for services such as advertising, accounting, and insurance. Furthermore, an additional £1.1 million is claimed for 'unreporting touring income' generated between early 2019 and 2020, specifically during her Phoenix World Tour, indicating a failure to account for certain revenues received during that period.

Following her departure from FAE Ventures, Rita Ora embarked on a new management partnership with Ivie Idahosa Erese at Range Media Partners.
