During his senior year, he maintained impressive averages of 11.2 points, 3.3 assists, and 2.1 steals per game. His professional journey continued with the Austin Spurs in the NBA G League, where he averaged 11.3 points and 2.3 assists. Later, he further elevated his performance in the Canadian Elite Basketball League with the Calgary Surge, significantly boosting his averages to 20.1 points and 4.2 assists.
Joining Nelson Jr. is Jaylin Williams, a 25-year-old forward who played for Auburn.
