XGIMI has officially launched its Aura 3 Max and Aura 3 Pro projectors for the US market, following their initial reveal at IFA. These devices represent the pinnacle of home projection technology, designed to transform any living space into a cinematic experience. While the retail prices align with high-end televisions, early adopters have the opportunity to secure these advanced projectors at a considerably reduced cost through a special pre-order campaign.

Prospective buyers can now reserve either the Aura 3 Max or Aura 3 Pro ahead of their Kickstarter debut scheduled for October 20. The Max model will be available to Kickstarter supporters for $2,399, while the Pro variant is priced at $2,199. An additional incentive is offered for those who place a refundable $50 deposit directly with XGIMI, which further reduces the price by $200, bringing the Max down to $2,199 and the Pro to an attractive $1,999. The projected manufacturer's suggested retail prices (MSRPs) are $4,999 for the Max and $3,999 for the Pro, highlighting the substantial savings available to early patrons.

These projectors deliver exceptional home entertainment capabilities, boasting RGB triple-laser projection and supporting stunning 4K resolution at a 120Hz refresh rate. The Aura 3 Max excels with 5,700 ISO lumens and an 8,000:1 native contrast ratio, while the Aura 3 Pro offers 4,100 ISO lumens and a 7,000:1 contrast ratio. Gamers will appreciate features such as Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM), FreeSync Premium, and low-latency gaming support, though 4K/120Hz performance requires a compatible HDMI 2.1 source. Both models integrate Google TV, providing access to popular streaming applications like Netflix, YouTube, and Prime Video, complemented by a powerful 80W Harman Kardon audio system. The ultra-short-throw design allows for a large 120-inch image from just eight inches away, offering flexible placement options unlike traditional ceiling-mounted projectors. Shipments are anticipated to commence in December for Kickstarter orders, though this timeframe remains an estimate.

The introduction of XGIMI's Aura 3 series marks a significant step forward in making premium home theater accessible. By combining cutting-edge display technology with user-friendly features and flexible placement options, these projectors empower individuals to elevate their entertainment experiences. The innovative approach to pricing through early bird incentives also demonstrates a commitment to engaging tech enthusiasts and fostering a community around high-quality visual and auditory solutions, enriching the way we enjoy media at home.
